CM Mohan Yadav compared Bundelkhand to a Phoenix rising from the ashes, symbolizing its strength and resilience. The region, with its proud legacy shaped by figures like Alha Udal and Maharaja Chhatrasal, continues to stand strong. CM Mohan Yadav made these comments while overseeing the preparations for the upcoming visit of President Smt. Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Bageshwar Dham, at the Maharaja Chhatrasal Convention Center in Khajuraho. He stressed the importance of conducting the event with utmost dignity and excellence, ensuring every detail was taken care of.
CM Mohan Yadav highlighted Bundelkhand’s notable achievements, including being the site of the first river-linking project, the first international airport, and the first five-star hotel. He also revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would personally attend the groundbreaking ceremony for a new cancer hospital, marking a historic occasion for the region. Bageshwar Dham Peethadheeshwar Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri emphasized the uniqueness of the hospital project, noting it would be the first hospital built within a temple complex, and expressed gratitude to all those who made it possible. MP Shri Sharma underscored the vision for a greener and more prosperous Bundelkhand, praising the Chief Minister’s proactive governance. He pointed out that while many had only visited the region for political reasons, CM Mohan Yadav had taken tangible steps to transform Bundelkhand. The MP also commended the Chief Minister’s initiative to organize a symposium aimed at shaping Bundelkhand’s future, calling it a timely and impactful step for lasting change in the region.

CM Mohan Yadav, along with Peethadheeshwar Shri Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, public representatives, and administrative officials, inspected the event venue. He directed that preparations be completed efficiently within the given time frame. The Chief Minister also participated in a Puja at the Balaji Temple along with Peethadheeshwar Shri Shastri.
