CM Nayab Singh Saini : Gas cylinders are being supplied to 1.3 million low-income families for 500.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini announced that the 2025-26 general budget will prioritize the development of the people of Haryana. The budget will incorporate key suggestions from various stakeholders, aiming to accelerate the state’s progress threefold.
Speaking at an event in Panchkula, the Chief Minister highlighted that the state government has already fulfilled 18 out of 240 election promises within its first 100 days. Work is underway on six more resolutions, which are expected to be completed soon, while 50 additional resolutions are in process, awaiting financial or administrative approval. He assured that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana will fulfill all 240 promises within the stipulated time.
Key Achievements in the First 100 Days
- 347 crore allocated for repairing 810 km of roads, ensuring no road in Haryana remains in disrepair.
- 13 lakh underprivileged families receiving gas cylinders at 500.
Upcoming Elections & Development Goals
CM Nayab Singh Saini stated that the government is fully prepared for the urban local body elections and that the BJP will contest with full seriousness. He emphasized that the three-tier governance system will help expedite development initiatives across the state.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the state government is driving development at three times the usual pace. Taking a swipe at the opposition, CM Nayab Singh Saini mentioned that while it is their role to criticize the government, they should also acknowledge the positive work being done. He noted that when 2.80 crore people of Haryana appreciate the government’s efforts, the opposition’s criticism seems misplaced.
Response to Allegations on Yamuna Water Pollution
Addressing accusations made during the Delhi elections that Haryana was polluting the Yamuna River, CM Nayab Singh Saini called it an unfortunate and baseless claim. He criticized Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for spreading misinformation to cover up the shortcomings of his own government. He remarked that a “shop of lies” had been running in Delhi, and the people had given a resounding response in the elections.
Congress’ Decline & Farmer Welfare Initiatives
CM Nayab Singh Saini noted that the Congress party failed to win a single seat in Delhi for the third consecutive time and predicted a similar outcome in in 2029. He also criticized Congress’ 55-year rule, stating that it neglected farmers’ welfare, whereas in just 10 years, PM Modi has implemented several pro-farmer policies. He highlighted that 100% of farmers’ produce in Haryana is now purchased at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Taking a jab at former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Saini pointed out that despite 10 years in power, Hooda failed to address government job vacancies. In contrast, the current government is providing jobs purely on merit, without corruption, restoring youth confidence.
Call for a Strong Opposition & Commitment to Uniform Development
CM Nayab Singh Saini acknowledged that the election of the Leader of the Opposition is an internal Congress matter but emphasized the importance of a strong opposition for a healthy democracy. He highlighted the government’s commitment to uniform development, ensuring that areas near state borders—like Kalka, Narnaul, Ellenabad, and Radaur—receive equal attention and progress without discrimination.
