Haryana CM Nayab Saini
Speaking at the “Vijay Sankalp” rally here today, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini promoted the policies that the Modi Government has implemented over the last ten years in an attempt to win over farmers and female votes for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He launched a vicious attack on the Congress, charging it with mistreating women and failing to provide farmers with any support during its two consecutive administrations at the federal level and in the state. “Farmers received compensation for crop losses of Rs 1,100 crore during the ten years of the Congress regime, whereas the BJP government has given Rs 12,000 crore in the last nine and a half years,” stated Saini. He noted that during the previous Congress administrations, the prices of urea and DAP used to rise annually, forcing farmers to purchase them at exorbitant costs. However, the Modi government chose to supply urea and DAP to farmers at the prior pricing.
LEADER OF HARYANA BIRENDER SINGH JOINS CONGRESS ONE DAY AFTER LEAVING THE BJP
“The Congress did nothing for the welfare of the people; its only goal was to win their votes. Concerned for the impoverished, farmers, women, young, and other segments of society is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Women no longer trust the Congress, and they are unaware of the language its leaders are using against them. Women were never treated with respect by the Congress, according to Nayab Saini.
Nayab Saini first rally as chief minister took place in the parliamentary seat of Rohtak, which is regarded as the stronghold of outgoing chief minister Bhupinder Hooda. He launched a series of assembly-wise public rallies in this constituency starting with this one. He polled support for Arvind Sharma, the BJP nominee.
The chief minister listed the many things the BJP government has done to support farmers, mentioning that PM Narendra Modi has given farmers a total of Rs 3 lakh crore through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Additionally, he sought to ensure that farmers received fair compensation for crop losses.
