Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami distributed appointment letters to 221 selected candidates at an event held in Dehradun’s Mukhyasevak Sadan. The selections were made through the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC).
The appointments were made across departments including Urban Development, Skill Development and Employment, and Animal Husbandry. The Chief Minister assured that the future of the state’s youth will not be compromised under any circumstances.
33,000 Government Jobs in 4.5 Years, Says CM
CM Dhami stated that over 33,000 youth have been provided government employment in the last four and a half years. He described the moment as a result of years of hard work by the youth and sacrifices made by their families.
He also recalled a time when recruitment exams were often delayed and plagued by irregularities, causing disappointment among aspirants. He said that situation has now completely changed with timely and transparent recruitment processes.

Strong Action Against Exam Malpractices
The Chief Minister highlighted strict action taken against exam fraud and paper leak cases. He said Uttarakhand has implemented one of the country’s strictest anti-cheating laws to ensure fairness in recruitment.
He instructed departments to fill vacant posts at the earliest and maintain transparency in all recruitment processes.
Youth Called Partners in Development
CM Dhami emphasized that the newly appointed candidates should not be seen merely as government employees but as partners in the development of Uttarakhand.
He urged them to work with dedication, integrity, and a spirit of public service to resolve citizens’ problems effectively.
Ministers Praise Transparent Recruitment
Cabinet ministers present at the event praised the state government’s transparent recruitment process. They stated that merit-based appointments without recommendations have strengthened public trust in the administration.
