Delhi CM Rekha Gupta addresses NSUT convocation, urging graduates to view their degree as a milestone, embrace continuous learning, and contribute to society and national development.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta addressed the convocation at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) on Saturday, emphasizing that the university is not only excelling in academics but also shaping students to serve society and contribute to national development.
During her speech, CM Rekha Gupta highlighted NSUT’s efforts in improving educational quality and holistic student training through its Centre of Excellence programs. She stated that institutions like NSUT play a pivotal role in equipping young minds to tackle future national challenges, including infrastructure, environmental issues, green energy, and innovation-led growth.

The CM Rekha Gupta also referred to the inauguration of two statues of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at NSUT campuses, noting the pride associated with honoring a freedom fighter whose leadership continues to inspire millions. She added that India’s independence carries a responsibility for the current generation to steer the country’s future wisely, especially as the nation marks 78 years of independence.

CM Rekha Gupta emphasized the importance of technology and innovation in addressing societal needs, noting that digital advancements have transformed both social and economic sectors. Stressing the value of continuous learning, Gupta urged students to see their degrees as milestones rather than final destinations. She reminded them that education and knowledge remain vital assets irrespective of the career paths they choose.
