Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini disburses ₹298Cr under Dayalu Yojana and ₹19.35Cr tractor subsidy for 645 SC farmers to boost social security & farm mechanization.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government has reached a new milestone in social welfare. Today, the CM distributed ₹298.07 crore to 7,875 families under the Dayalu Yojana, providing much-needed relief to those facing financial hardship due to unforeseen casualties.
In a simultaneous effort to bolster the agriculture sector, the Chief Minister also released a significant tractor subsidy to empower farmers from the Scheduled Caste (SC) community.
Dayalu Yojana: A Shield for Vulnerable Families
The Dayalu Yojana (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana) is designed to provide financial assistance in the event of death or permanent disability of a person within a family earning an annual income of less than ₹1.80 lakh.
By disbursing over ₹298 crore today, the state government has ensured that the Dayalu Yojana continues to act as a robust social security net. This scheme is a cornerstone of the Chief Minister’s mission to support the “Antyodaya” (the last person in the queue), ensuring that no family is left behind due to a lack of resources.

Key details of the distribution include:
Beneficiaries: 645 SC farmers received the tractor subsidy today.
Financial Impact: Each farmer was granted a significant portion of the purchase price to help them acquire modern machinery.
Goal: The tractor subsidy is intended to reduce the physical labor of small-scale farmers and increase their overall crop yield and income.
Transparent Governance and Direct Support
The Chief Minister highlighted that both the Dayalu Yojana payments and the tractor subsidy were processed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring zero leakage and complete transparency.
“Whether it is the emotional and financial support provided by the Dayalu Yojana or the economic empowerment through the tractor subsidy, our government is committed to the welfare of every citizen,” stated CM Nayab Singh Saini.
