Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh interacted with residents of several villages in the Patiala Rural constituency during a Lok Milni programme and listened to their concerns and local issues.
Dr Balbir Singh visited Kanshuha Kalan, Ajnauda Khurd and Rohti Mauran, where he met villagers and discussed the problems being faced by local residents. During the interaction, efforts were made to address the issues at the spot by coordinating with the concerned authorities.
Direct Interaction with Villagers
The Lok Milni programme provided residents with an opportunity to directly put forward their concerns and requirements. Dr Balbir Singh listened to the villagers and took note of the issues raised during the meetings.
The initiative reflects the Punjab government’s emphasis on maintaining direct communication with people and understanding problems at the grassroots level.

Focus on Village Development
A large number of villagers participated in the programmes held across the three villages. The gatherings also highlighted the response of residents towards development activities being carried out in rural areas.
Dr Balbir Singh said that serving people and accelerating development remain important priorities of the Mann government. He stressed the need to ensure that development initiatives reach villages and benefit residents at the local level.
