In the national capital, Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold climbed to ₹1,40,920 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,29,190 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,40,770 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,29,040 per 10 grams.
Gold Prices in Major Cities
In Mumbai and Kolkata, 22-carat gold is trading at ₹1,29,040 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,40,770 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad reported 22-carat gold at ₹1,29,090 and 24-carat at ₹1,40,820 per 10 grams.

Chennai continues to record higher prices compared to other cities, with 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,510 per 10 grams and 24-carat gold at ₹1,44,560 per 10 grams. Pune and Bengaluru also reported similar rates, with slight variations depending on local market conditions.
In cities like Jaipur, Bhopal, Lucknow, and Chandigarh, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,29,190 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold stands at ₹1,40,920 per 10 grams.
Silver Prices Also Surge
Alongside gold, silver prices also saw an increase. On July 2 morning, silver climbed to ₹2,40,100 per kilogram in the domestic market. In the international spot market, silver was trading around 58 US dollars per ounce.
