Following a court decision involving Chaitar Vasava, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Gopal Italia addressed a detailed press conference, alleging a political conspiracy and misuse of government machinery against tribal leadership in Gujarat.
He claimed that the verdict was not just a legal outcome but part of a larger attempt to suppress the voice of tribal communities in the state.
Allegations of Conspiracy and Tribal Suppression
Gopal Italia stated that efforts were being made to silence the voice of tribal society through coordinated action. He asserted that Chaitar Vasava and the tribal community would respond strongly to what he described as an injustice.
He further said that the entire AAP leadership and tribal community stands firmly with Chaitar Vasava and will continue to support him through legal and political means.
Legal Battle and Appeal to Higher Courts
The AAP leader confirmed that the party would pursue all available legal remedies and approach higher courts if necessary. He said that legal teams from both the Supreme Court and Gujarat High Court are actively working on the matter.
According to him, the case will be challenged through all constitutional and judicial avenues to ensure justice.

Claims of Political Targeting
Gopal Italia alleged that the entire incident was politically motivated and aimed at weakening tribal representation in Gujarat politics. He questioned why similar strict action was not taken in other corruption-related cases in the state.
He also claimed that pressure was being created to force Chaitar Vasava into political compromise, which he said was consistently rejected.
Tribal Issues and Long-Standing Struggles
The AAP leader highlighted long-standing issues faced by tribal communities, including land acquisition disputes, education rights, scholarships, forest rights, and administrative irregularities in tribal regions.
He said that Chaitar Vasava emerged as a strong voice during the 2022 elections and has continuously raised these issues in the legislative assembly and on the ground.

Gopal Italia emphasized that tribal communities across Gujarat, along with AAP workers, stand united behind Chaitar Vasava. He claimed that public support has strengthened despite legal challenges.
