Gujarat Gen-Z students will hold a peaceful protest against paper leaks at Gandhinagar Satyagrah Chhavani on July 25, announced by Religious Mathukia.
The Gujarat unit of the Aam Aadmi Party’s student wing ASAP has announced a peaceful student movement against alleged paper leaks in the state. ASAP Gujarat President Religious Mathukia has appealed to Gen-Z students and youth across Gujarat to participate in the protest scheduled to begin on July 25 at Gandhinagar’s Satyagrah Chhavani.
The protest will be organised on the lines of the student demonstration held at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, with the aim of raising concerns related to examination paper leaks and issues affecting students.
Gujarat Students to Join ‘Gujarat Cockroach Movement’
Religious Mathukia said that the anger among students increased after the NEET paper leak controversy, leading young people across the country to raise their voices for transparency and accountability in the education system.
He stated that many students from Gujarat had participated in the movement in Delhi, while several others could not reach the national capital due to distance and other difficulties. Keeping their concerns in mind, a similar peaceful protest is now being started in Gujarat.

The movement has been named the “Gujarat Cockroach Movement” and will begin at 10 AM on July 25 at Satyagrah Chhavani, Gandhinagar.
Appeal to Youth to Participate Without Political Flags
Mathukia appealed to students and young people to join the protest voluntarily without carrying any political party flags. He said the movement should focus on protecting the future of students and strengthening trust in the education system.
He urged participants to raise their demands peacefully and collectively, keeping the interests of students and the country’s future at the centre.
Demand for Accountability Over Paper Leak Issues
The AAP student leader said that Gujarat has witnessed several paper leak cases over the past few years, which have affected the confidence of students preparing for competitive examinations.
He added that the protest would support the demand for accountability from those responsible and also raise the issue of the resignation of the Union Education Minister, a demand being made by several student groups.
Peaceful Demonstration Planned in Gandhinagar
The organisers have invited students from across Gujarat to gather at Satyagrah Chhavani and participate in the peaceful demonstration. The movement aims to highlight student concerns and seek solutions related to examination security and transparency.
The announcement comes amid growing discussions around examination reforms, paper leak prevention and the need for a more reliable education system for students.
