AAP leader Pravin Ram urges Gujarat youth to join the July 25 Gandhinagar protest in support of the Jantar Mantar movement against alleged paper leaks.
The ongoing student protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar against alleged examination paper leaks is now finding support in Gujarat. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat Front Organisation President Pravin Ram has appealed to the state’s youth to participate in a symbolic protest scheduled for July 25 at Satyagraha Chhavani in Gandhinagar.
He also urged college students across Gujarat to wear black armbands as a mark of protest and solidarity with students demonstrating in the national capital.
Pravin Ram Calls for Wider Youth Participation
Addressing the media, Pravin Ram said the student movement at Jantar Mantar has become a nationwide campaign demanding accountability over alleged paper leak incidents and seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to him, despite police action against protesters in Delhi, students have continued their agitation with determination. He claimed that the movement has sent a strong message across the country and deserves support from young people in every state.

‘Gujarat Has Faced the Worst Impact of Paper Leaks’
Pravin Ram alleged that Gujarat has witnessed repeated controversies involving examination paper leaks over the years. He claimed that several recruitment and competitive examinations in the state have been affected by leaks or irregularities, creating uncertainty for thousands of aspirants.
He said the issue directly affects the careers and future of young people, making it necessary for Gujarat’s youth to raise their voices.
Appeal to Wear Black Bands and Join Gandhinagar Protest
As part of the campaign, Pravin Ram appealed to students to attend their colleges wearing black armbands as a peaceful expression of protest. He further invited students, job aspirants and citizens to assemble at Satyagraha Chhavani, Gandhinagar, on July 25 for a symbolic demonstration.
Using the slogan “Chalo Gandhinagar”, he encouraged young people to participate in large numbers to demand transparency in examinations and stronger action against alleged paper leak networks.
Support for the Ongoing Student Movement
Pravin Ram said the Gujarat protest is intended to strengthen the ongoing student movement that began at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. He stated that protecting students’ future and ensuring fair recruitment and examination systems should remain a national priority.
The proposed demonstration in Gandhinagar is expected to highlight concerns over examination integrity and the future of youth while expressing solidarity with the students protesting in Delhi.
