Criticises Police Action Against Student Protesters
The AAP leader criticised the alleged police action against students participating in the demonstrations. She claimed that protesters had faced lathi-charge and forceful action during the protests and alleged that several students were injured.
According to Sakariya, students who are peacefully raising concerns about their future deserve to be heard, and their demands should be addressed through dialogue.
Appeal for Education Reforms
Reiterating the party’s stand, Sakariya said the protest aims to seek accountability over the alleged NEET paper leak and press for reforms that strengthen the integrity of the examination system.
She also renewed the demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, saying that responsibility should be fixed in cases involving examination irregularities.
Gandhinagar Protest Scheduled for July 25
Payal Sakariya announced that she would personally participate in the protest at Satyagraha Chhavani, Gandhinagar, and appealed to people across Gujarat to join the demonstration in large numbers.
She said Gujarat has a long tradition of standing against injustice and urged citizens to unite in support of students and their future.
The protest is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM on July 25, with AAP leaders calling it a demonstration aimed at amplifying students’ voices and seeking accountability over the alleged examination controversy.
