CM Nayab Singh Saini kicks off the BJP campaign for Haryana Civic Polls in Sonipat. Discover his key promises on MSP, jobs, and the Lado Lakshmi Yojana.
Haryana Civic Polls are heating up as Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini officially kicked off a massive public outreach campaign in Sonipat this Monday. Aiming to consolidate the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) position ahead of the crucial elections, the Chief Minister began his tour from Ward Number 8 and addressed a significant gathering in Rai village. This visit marks a strategic move to strengthen the party’s grassroots connection as the Haryana Civic Polls draw near.
During his intensive day-long schedule, Chief Minister Saini is expected to address nearly two dozen small public meetings across various wards. The campaign, meticulously organized with 19 scheduled programs by the mayoral candidate, focuses on mobilizing voters for both the Mayor and Councilor positions. Addressing the crowds, CM Saini emphasized that the power to shape the city’s future lies in the hands of the people, urging them to bless the BJP candidates with their mandate in the upcoming Haryana Civic Polls.
Highlighting the achievements of the “double-engine” government, the Chief Minister provided an update on the party’s previous electoral promises. He stated that out of the 217 resolutions made during the assembly elections 18 months ago, 63 have already been fulfilled. Work on the remaining 163 resolutions is reportedly progressing at a war footing. Saini pointed to several welfare schemes as evidence of the government’s commitment, including the provision of gas cylinders at 500 rupees for low-income families and the procurement of all crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP).

The Chief Minister also touted the government’s transparency in recruitment, claiming that 2 lakh youth have been provided jobs without any “parchi-kharchi” (bribery or favoritism). He further highlighted the implementation of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana as a milestone for women’s empowerment in the state. As the discourse around the Haryana Civic Polls intensifies, these developmental milestones are being positioned as the cornerstone of the BJP’s re-election pitch.
In a sharp critique of the opposition, CM Saini attacked Congress-led governments in other states, alleging a lack of safety and security for women. He suggested that the “mistakes” made by Congress in Delhi were being repeated in Haryana, accusing them of failing to stand up for women’s rights when it mattered most. By contrasting his administration’s performance with the opposition’s track record, Saini aimed to sway undecided voters in the lead-up to the Haryana Civic Polls.
Accompanying the Chief Minister, Haryana BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli also made a fervent appeal to the public. Both leaders urged citizens to support the ‘Lotus’ symbol to ensure a synchronized development model between the local bodies and the state government. With the campaign now in full swing, the Haryana Civic Polls are set to be a high-stakes battleground where the ruling party seeks to validate its governance through a local mandate.
