CM Nayab Singh Saini emphasizes the need for proactive measures to attract global investments.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has instructed officials to take all necessary steps to attract substantial investments across various sectors in the state. He emphasized the importance of updating existing policies to drive industrial growth, which would not only bring in investments but also generate employment opportunities.
Chairing a meeting of the Industries and Commerce Department, CM Nayab Singh Saini highlighted Haryana’s plan to develop 10 advanced industrial townships, inspired by the success of IMT Kharkhoda. He called for proactive measures to facilitate industrial expansion and global investment, proposing the establishment of an ultra-modern IT Park along with special incentives for industries and MSMEs to enhance Haryana’s appeal as an investment hub.
Acknowledging the Central Government’s efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen manufacturing and support MSMEs, he noted Haryana’s strategic advantage due to its proximity to the National Capital and strong infrastructure. He also recognized the interest of Indian entrepreneurs abroad in setting up ventures in Haryana and directed the Industries Department and HSIIDC to engage with them to facilitate investments. He emphasized that all initiatives should be goal-driven to ensure timely execution and results.
In a separate meeting, CM Nayab Singh Saini urged officials to focus on attracting Aerospace and Defense investments. He highlighted Haryana’s dedicated Aerospace and Defense Investment Policy, aiming to position the state as a national hub in this sector, with a target of securing $1 billion in investments over the next five years.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Chief Principal Secretary to CM Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to CM Arun Kumar Gupta, ACS Vijayendra Kumar, Principal Secretary Industries Department D. Suresh, Principal Secretary Civil Aviation Department Shyamal Mishra, Principal Secretary Labour Department Rajeev Ranjan, OSD to CM Raj Nehru, and other senior officials.
