Smt. Trikha addresses School Management Committee conference-cum-training camp

Haryana Education Minister, Smt. Seema Trikha stated that the state government has done excellent work in the field of education over the last nine and a half years, as a result of which education standard in the state has been significantly improved. Under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh, the government is committed to providing accessible and quality education to students and is continuously working to achieve this goal through its welfare schemes.
Haryana Education Minister, Smt. Seema Trikha was speaking as the chief guest at the district-level School Management Committee conference-cum-training camp held in Faridabad today. MLA, Faridabad, Sh. Narendra Gupta and MLA, Tigaon, Sh. Rajesh Nagar were also present on this occasion.
The Haryana Education Minister said the purpose of this conference is to provide detailed information about the primary functions and responsibilities of the School Management Committee (SMC). The aim is to ensure that students do not face any issues. She said that in the past nine and a half years, the present government has established women’s colleges in Ballabgarh and Mohna, a co-ed college in Sector-23, and colleges in Nacholi and Dayalpur. These institutions will secure a bright future for the upcoming generations and help realize Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. Apart from this, work for the construction or renovation of buildings of 92 government schools in the state will be started soon. She emphasized that to meet the demand of teachers in schools, 500 teachers will be promoted soon. Apart from this, vacant posts of teachers will be filled on priority basis.
MLA, Sh. Rajesh Nagar stated that efforts are being made by the central and state governments to ensure that no children in the country are deprived of the right to education. Since 2014, the number of IITs in the country has increased, and the state government is working to open model Sanskriti schools in every district.
While addressing the gathering, MLA Sh. Narendra Gupta appreciated the initiative of organizing SMC conference. He highlighted the crucial role of teachers and mentors in an individual’s life. The purpose of the SMC is to create coordination between teachers and parents to work in the best interests of the students, he added.
On this occasion, the Haryana Education Minister honoured district toppers and students who succeeded in exams like JEE Mains and NEET. Besides this, she also honoured SMC members, principals, and star teachers for their excellent work in the field of education.
