Haryana launches Jal Jeevan Mission Haryana second phase to ensure safe, sustainable water supply, quality, and long-term management across the state.
In a significant step towards ensuring safe and sustainable water supply, Haryana has launched the second phase of Jal Jeevan Mission Haryana. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this phase was signed between the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, and the Haryana government in the virtual presence of Union Minister @CRPaatil.
Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister @narendramodi, the Jal Jeevan Mission Haryana has transformed into a nationwide movement, focusing not only on water supply but also on water quality, sustainability, and long-term management.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini emphasized that the second phase of Jal Jeevan Mission Haryana will include modernization of water storage tanks, connection of remaining households to piped water supply, and implementation of projects in water-stressed regions of southern Haryana, including Nuh, Palwal, and Mahendragarh.

The Chief Minister Nayab Saini further instructed all municipal and local authorities to ensure strict monitoring of Jal Jeevan Mission Haryana projects to guarantee timely execution and compliance. This joint effort between the central and state government aims to improve water management and make safe, clean drinking water accessible to every citizen of Haryana.
With the launch of the second phase, Jal Jeevan Mission Haryana will play a crucial role in addressing water challenges, promoting sustainable water use, and ensuring uninterrupted supply across both urban and rural areas.
