The minister emphasized that these measures have been issued to ensure law and order during the Navratri festival. According to the new orders, any person wishing to open a meat shop in municipal areas during Navratri must obtain permission from the licensing authority. Opening a meat shop without proper authorization will lead to strict action.
Minister Vipul Goyal further directed all municipal officers to make adequate arrangements to regularly monitor meat shops in their respective areas. The compliance with these orders will be strictly enforced, and any violation or negligence will be met with stern action.
With this step, Haryana aims to ensure that religious and educational spaces remain undisturbed, and the festival period is observed peacefully across all municipal areas.
