Chandigarh, July 7 –

Haryana Public Health Engineering Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, chaired the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee in Hisar district today. In the meeting, 17 complaints were heard and necessary directions were given to the officers concerned.

Before the meeting, the Minister laid the foundation stones for additional structures to improve water supply in the various villages of Hisar district and the widening/strengthening works of 12 roads with a total length of 23.985 kilometres.

During the meeting, Dr. Banwari Lal, while listening to the grievances, directed the officers to ensure the prompt resolution of complaints brought before the committee, so that people do not face any inconvenience.

In the meeting, employees of the District Elementary Education Department lodged a complaint against the District Elementary Education Officer Nirmal Dahiya, stating that the officer was harassing the employees in various ways. Dr. Banwari Lal immediately ordered the suspension and transfer of District Elementary Education Officer Nirmal Dahiya.

In the meeting, Ran Singh, a resident of the village Shikarpur, complained that the depot holder never comes to the village for ration distribution. The Minister directed the concerned officers to investigate the matter.

On this occasion, Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, MLAs Sh. Vinod Bhayana, Sh. Jogi Ram Sihag, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Pradeep Dahiya, eminent citizens, and other officers of district administration were present.
