NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal conducts the 3rd monthly online NRI Milnee to address and resolve the concerns of Punjabi NRIs.
Administrative Reforms and NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal conducted the third online NRI Milnee at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 to address the concerns of NRI Punjabis through video conferencing. He personally listened to their grievances, emphasizing that this initiative, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is a first-of-its-kind effort to swiftly resolve NRI complaints.
Minister Kuldeep directed ADGP NRI Wing Praveen K Sinha and SSPs of concerned districts to take immediate action on the complaints. He shared that a total of 109 complaints were received—56 via email and 53 through WhatsApp—and assured prompt resolution.
Expressing satisfaction over the enthusiastic participation of NRI Punjabis, Minister Kuldeep highlighted that nine offline NRI Milnees have already been conducted across Punjab. He reassured NRIs of his full support and availability to address their concerns, urging them to reach out anytime.
Minister Kuldeep advised complainants to include their address, mobile number, and email for efficient communication with authorities. Additionally, he warned Punjab’s youth against illegal immigration routes like ‘Dunki,’ emphasizing the dangers of human trafficking and the financial losses suffered by victims of fraudulent agents.
The third monthly online NRI Milnee was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Dilip Kumar, ADGP NRI Wing Praveen K Sinha, NRI Sabha President Parvinder Kaur, and AIG NRI Ajinder Singh.
