Mohammed Siraj
During the 2022 English cricket season, the name “Bazball” was loosely coined to describe the aggressive and offensive style of play used by the England cricket team in Test matches.
In preparation for their next assignment, the India vs. England five-match Test series, which starts in Hyderabad on January 25, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has sent a warning message to the visiting England cricket team. If England continues to play their aggressive brand of cricket, Siraj has warned that the Test matches could end in two days. This is despite England having adopted a new ‘Bazball style of play’ in their ultimate desire to defeat Rohit Sharma-led India on their own ground.
What is Bazball?
During the 2022 English cricket season, the name “Bazball” was loosely coined to describe the aggressive and offensive style of play used by the England cricket team in Test matches.
In Indian conditions, England’s Bazball encounter might end in a day and a half or two. This is a difficult spot to hit consistently since the ball occasionally twists and occasionally straightens. Thus, I believe it will be challenging to see Bazball here. However, if they play it, it will benefit us because the game can end soon,” Siraj stated on JioCinema.

“The matches on their last journey to India were ending soon. In that series (2021), I believe I participated in two games. During the opening session of one of these, I bowled five overs and claimed the wickets of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root. Therefore, the goal will be to limit the number of runs in every over that I bowl. It’s wonderful if I get wickets, but I’ll need to exercise patience and keep applying pressure to the batsmen,” he remarked.
Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, the home field of Mohammed Siraj, will host the first Test match between India and England. When the supporters show up to support him during the match, the pacer looks forward to their encouragement.
“I am anticipating a full house of Hyderabad supporters for the first Test between IND and ENG. We adore them and eagerly await their assistance.”
