The Namo Bharat additional trips will cover the entire operational corridor between Sarai Kale Khan and Modipuram. With the increased frequency, passengers will have more travel options during the festive rush.

The rail service enhancement comes alongside a separate announcement by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding free bus travel for women during Raksha Bandhan.
According to the announcement, women will be able to travel free of charge on Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses from 6 am on August 27 until midnight on August 29.
The free travel facility will also cover one person accompanying a woman passenger. If more than one person accompanies her, the additional passenger or passengers will have to pay the applicable fare.
The extension means that women will have access to free bus travel for a longer period around the festival.
