Yogi Adityanath says poll results reflect strong public faith in PM Modi’s leadership and NDA’s historic election mandate across multiple states.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday praised the performance of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the latest assembly election trends, stating that the results reflect the public’s strong confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and welfare-oriented governance model.
According to Election Commission trends, the BJP has taken a significant lead in West Bengal with 194 seats, while the ruling Trinamool Congress is ahead on 91 seats. The party is also showing strong performance in Assam and Puducherry, indicating a wider acceptance of the NDA across regions.
Reacting to the developments, Yogi Adityanath described the outcome as a “historic mandate” that reinforces the vision of a developed and self-reliant India. He said the results clearly demonstrate the people’s trust in Prime Minister Modi’s policies focused on development, welfare, and inclusive growth.

In a post shared on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said that citizens across the country have expressed “unwavering faith” in the Prime Minister’s leadership. He added that the electoral trends reflect strong approval of pro-people governance and national development initiatives.
Highlighting the political outcomes, Adityanath noted that the NDA forming government in West Bengal for the first time, returning to power in Assam for a third consecutive term, and retaining leadership in Puducherry showcases the growing public support for the alliance.
He further stated that this mandate will provide fresh momentum to the vision of a “New India – Developed India,” strengthening ongoing efforts toward economic growth and social welfare under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
The Chief Minister also extended congratulations to BJP leaders, workers, and successful candidates, appreciating their efforts in achieving strong electoral results. He thanked voters for their continued support and participation in the democratic process.
Calling the verdict an endorsement of good governance and nationalism, Yogi Adityanath said the results reaffirm the public’s belief in the NDA’s development-focused agenda and leadership at the national level.
