The Hundred Men’s 2025 concluded with Oval Invincibles securing a convincing victory over Trent Rockets in the grand finale at Lord’s on August 31.
Oval Invincibles etched their name alongside teams like Victoria, Sialkot Stallions, Wayamba, Trinidad & Tobago, Titans, and Jaffna Kings by achieving a hat-trick of T20 titles.
Batting first, Oval Invincibles posted 168 runs on the board, thanks to a brilliant 72 from Will Jacks, 40 from Jordan Cox, and handy contributions from Tawanda Muyeye (15) and Sam Curran (15). For Trent Rockets, Marcus Stoinis picked up two wickets, while Dillon Pennington and Rehan Ahmed claimed one apiece.
In response, Trent Rockets faltered early with Tom Banton (23) and Joe Root (10) failing to make big scores. David Willey managed 14, while Rehan Ahmed fell for a duck. Stoinis led a fightback with a spirited 64 off 38 balls, but his efforts weren’t enough as Rockets were restricted to 142.
Nathan Sowter was the star with the ball for the Invincibles, scalping three wickets. Saqib Mahmood, Tom Curran, and Adam Zampa chipped in with one each, sealing a 21-run triumph for Oval Invincibles and their third successive The Hundred title.
