Invoking the legacy of Bharat Ratna Jannayak Karpoori Thakur, PM Modi said, “Inspired by the leader of the people, Karpoori Thakur, we are transforming good governance into prosperity. But the RJD and Congress, who are out on bail in scams worth thousands of crores, are now trying to steal the title of Karpoori Thakur. The people of Bihar will never tolerate this insult.”

PM Modi also referred to past welfare scandals, asking, “Earlier, one of the Prime Ministers said we send Rs 1, but the beneficiary gets only 15 paise. Which ‘panja’ looted all that money?” His remarks underscored the NDA’s narrative of transparent governance and contrasted it with alleged malpractices by opposition parties.
Through his campaign speech, PM Modi aimed to highlight the NDA’s development-focused administration and call out the alleged corruption of RJD and Congress, reinforcing his appeal to Bihar voters ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
