PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the announcement of the “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana,” according to Union Minister Anurag Thakur.
Anurag Thakur, a union minister, announced on Thursday that the “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana,” which will provide 300 free energy units to one crore homes, had received central approval.
“Today’s cabinet meeting was presided over by Prime Minister Modi. With today’s approval of the “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana,” one crore homes would receive 300 units of free energy,” according to Thakur.

According to Union Minister Thakur, by 2025 all central government buildings would have solar panels placed on their rooftops.
“By 2025, rooftop solar will be installed on all central government buildings on a priority basis,” the union minister stated.
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana: He added that the International Big Cat Alliance has been given approval by the Union Cabinet to be established and that a one-time budgetary contribution of Rs. 150 crore will be provided for a five-year term.
“Cabinet approved the establishment of International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) with headquarters in India and also approved one-time budgetary support of Rs150 crore for a period of five years till 2027-28,” he stated.
