The Punjab Government has intensified its preparations for the monsoon season with a Pong Dam inspection conducted by Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal. The minister visited Pong Dam and reviewed the current water level situation while assessing the state’s flood preparedness measures.

Apart from reviewing flood preparedness, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal also inaugurated development projects focused on improving canal water facilities.
The projects include flood protection works at Ghogra Distributary and infrastructure improvement initiatives at Datapur.
