Poonam Pandey published two videos on Instagram to confirm her return, explaining that she had taken this action to raise awareness about cervical cancer one day after her death was declared on the actor’s account. The actor also went live on Instagram, where she elaborated on the response she received to her prank and explained why she had taken this particular action.
“I did not make any money out of it,” she declared. It was only done for a purpose. This was a campaign that no one wanted to take on. I apologize honestly; I realize that was excessive. I’m relieved that all I’ve been reading about since yesterday is cervical cancer. My message was delivered correctly. In India, everyone is aware about cervical cancer.
It’s an awful sensation. I’m shivering at the moment. My pals are furious and uncertain about our future conversations. “I went underground; my PR team had no idea where I was,” she said in real time.
“Hello everyone, it’s Poonam,” Poonam stated in her Instagram video. I apologize to everyone I may have offended. My goal is to start a discourse that will make everyone realize how little we actually talk about cervical cancer.
“Yes, I faked my demise.”
She went on, “Extreme, I know.” All of a sudden, though, everyone is discussing cervical cancer. This illness steals your life in silence, and it desperately needs more attention. I’m pleased with the impact my death news has had.
She declared her survival and discussed raising awareness of cervical cancer in a different video. In the caption, she wrote: ”
“I must tell you all something important: I am alive and well here. Although I was not affected by cervical cancer, hundreds of women have sadly lost their lives to the disease as a result of inadequate awareness about its treatment. Cervical cancer is totally avoidable, in contrast to many other types of cancer.
Early screening testing and the HPV vaccine are crucial. We have the tools to make sure that this illness doesn’t claim anyone’s life. Let’s ensure that every woman is aware of the necessary steps and empower each other with crucial awareness.
“Let’s work together to end the disease’s terrible effects and bring #DeathToCervicalCancer.”
When Poonam’s Instagram account announced her death from cervical cancer on Friday, everyone was taken aback.
