RAJASTHAN Governor Haribhau Bagade said that “Mahesh Navami Mahotsav is not just a festival but a symbol of the rich cultural and industrial heritage of Maheshwari Samaj. This society, though limited in number, is well known at home and abroad for its industrial potential and social mobilisation. If any one of the hundreds of societies in India could be said to be the most economically powerful, it would be the Maheshwari society. ”
Governor Shri Haribhau Bagade was addressing the program of Kavi Sammelan on the auspicious occasion of Mahesh Navami Mahotsav 2025 organised by Nagar Maheshwari Sabha in Bhilwara on Sunday.
Shri Bagade said that “the people of the society are not only leaders in business but also take part in public works in a big way. The construction and use of social buildings is an example of solidarity. This society is recognised for its culture, unity and social service. He said that the cotton industry in Bhilwara is very good. The people of Rajasthan have increased the pride of Rajasthan at the international level by going to other states and countries.
The inspiring speech of the Governor infused pride and self-confidence among the people present. Organised by the Nagar Maheshwari Sabha, the event was an excellent example of religious faith, social unity and cultural pride.
The programme began with invocation of Lord Mahesh and singing of the National Anthem. The Governor was felicitated by the gathering.
