Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to a crowd of more than 7,000 people, including seers and well-known figures from a variety of backgrounds, following the grand opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister announced to the assembly that “Our Ram lalla won’t have to live in a tent now; he will live in a grand temple” in order to highlight the importance of the occasion.
“After waiting eons, Lord Ram has now arrived (in his dwelling). “Our Lord Ram has finally arrived after the patience we showed for centuries and the sacrifices we made,” Prime Minister Modi said, paying tribute to the sacrifices that made this momentous possible.
“Some people said that if Ram Temple is constructed, it will set off a firestorm (across the country)” in reference to the Ram Janmabhoomi issue. But instead of causing a fire, this building released a fresh energy.”
“Ram is energy; he is not fire. Ram is a settlement, not a conflict. PM Modi said, “Ram is not just present; he is eternal.”
“January 22, 2024, is not just a date, but the beginning of a new era,” the prime minister said in his speech. The building of Ram Mandir has given them a fresh lease on life. He emphasized that this occasion would live on in people’s memories for many years to come.
Thousands of years from now, people will still recall this day and this moment. We are experiencing Ram’s ultimate blessings,” he continued, highlighting the event’s lasting significance.

“There must be something lacking in our effort, sacrifice, and penance that we could not do this work for so many centuries,” he said in apology to Lord Ram. The task has been finished today. I’m confident that today, Lord Shri Ram would grant us forgiveness.”
He had observed the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ rite earlier in the day and had then conducted ‘aarti’. During the revered rituals, Prime Minister Modi was joined within the sanctuary by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Ram Mandir Inauguration: 121 Acharyas Involved In Pran Pratishtha Held With Diverse Representation
There were 121 Acharyas in charge of the sacred Pran Pratishtha rite. Luckshmikant Dixit of Kashi was the primary Acharya, and Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid oversaw the Anushthan. Prominent attendees at the event included UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
The temple is 161 feet high, 380 feet long, and 250 feet wide, and it was constructed in the ancient Nagara style. It is a three-story building with 44 gates and 392 pillars on each floor that is 20 feet high. With its elaborate flower arrangements and festive lights, the city of Ayodhya echoed with the refrain “Ayodhya Rammay ho raha hai.”
One notable feature was the wide range of spiritual traditions, sects, and tribal communities represented. It was a historic and inclusive gathering, with Acharyas from over 150 traditions, Sants, Mahamandaleshwars, and representatives of over 50 tribal traditions in attendance.
Following the Prana Pratishtha, participants were given the chance to get darshan, which represents the completion of the ornate rituals. There was a great deal of excitement around the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla, and festivities were organized all over India.
Police officers were stationed across the city as part of a multi-layered plan, and security measures were of the utmost importance. Traffic was controlled by movable barricades and barbed wire, and NDRF teams were equipped to handle any situation. Provisions for healthcare were also provided in case of medical emergency.
