AAP MP Sanjay Singh seeks fresh time from SIT to submit additional documents in the alleged Ram Mandir Land Scam case involving 11 land transactions.
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has once again approached the Special Investigation Team (SIT), seeking an appointment to submit additional documents related to the alleged Ram Mandir Land Scam case.
Singh said he has written to the SIT Chairman requesting a suitable time to meet and hand over fresh evidence that he claims could assist the ongoing investigation. According to him, the documents are related to nearly 11 land transactions connected with the matter.
Sanjay Singh Claims Possession of New Documents
The AAP leader stated that the additional documents in his possession may provide important information to the investigation team. He said these records could help in examining the alleged irregularities and bring more clarity to the case.
Sanjay Singh referred to one of the land transactions where, according to his claim, land valued at around Rs 1.73 crore was purchased for Rs 29.67 crore. He has requested the SIT to review the documents and investigate the details of the transactions.

Earlier Submitted Documents to SIT
Sanjay Singh said that he had previously met the SIT Chairman regarding the matter and had already submitted several documents. However, he now wants to provide additional evidence that he believes may be useful for the investigation.
In his communication to the SIT, Singh mentioned that the new documents could support the probe and help the team understand the complete details behind the alleged irregularities.
SIT Investigating Matters Related to Ram Mandir Management
According to the AAP statement, Singh sent an email to the SIT Chairman and the Lucknow Divisional Commissioner. He highlighted that the SIT was constituted to investigate issues related to offerings, donations, and the management of the Bhagwan Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Singh said the matter is sensitive as it is connected with public faith, and therefore, a transparent investigation is important.
Demand for Transparent Investigation
The AAP MP has requested the SIT Chairman to provide a convenient time so that he can formally submit all the additional documents and evidence available with him.
He said that submitting these records would help the investigation team reach appropriate conclusions based on facts and evidence.
The SIT’s response regarding the requested appointment and further submission of documents is awaited.
