Nineteen children from six categories will receive the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024.
On January 22, President Droupadi Murmu will award 19 youngsters the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in recognition of their exceptional achievements, according to a statement from the government. According to the release, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak with the recipients of the awards on Tuesday. There are six categories in which the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024 will be given out. Notably, awards will be given to seven pupils for their accomplishments in the arts and culture, five for their sports accomplishments, four for their social service work, and one for each of bravery, creativity, science, and technology. A certificate and a medal will be given to each recipient.
Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024: Nine boys and ten girls, representing 18 states and Union Territories (UTs) and two aspirational districts, make up the group of 19 children who have been chosen. Smriti Zubin Irani, the Minister of Women and Child Development, and Munjpara Mahendrabhai, the Minister of State, will also interact with the youngsters during the occasion.
The Government of India grants children between the ages of five and eighteen the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) award in appreciation of their accomplishments. Seven categories are included in the award: sports, social service, science and technology, innovation, environment, art and culture, and bravery. In six of these categories, students are recognized this year.
The WCD Ministry said that Smriti Irani, the Minister of Women and Child Development, and Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai, the Minister of State, will interact with the youngsters.
Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2024: The government’s Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar aims to recognize and honour children between the ages of five and eighteen for their outstanding achievements. A certificate and a medal will be given to each honoree. Notably, as stated in the announcement, the WCD Ministry took specific actions this year to increase nominations, such as running ads in local and national publications.
