UP CM Yogi Adityanath directs BJP workers to ensure no eligible voter is left out during the SIR campaign. Special booths and digital verification will ensure a clean and updated voter list.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has urged BJP workers to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, emphasizing that no eligible voter should be left out. The directive aims to create a completely accurate and updated voter list ahead of upcoming elections.
During a meeting with BJP office-bearers, corporators, and former candidates at Annexi Bhawan in Ramgarh Tal, CM Yogi reviewed the ongoing SIR activities and instructed that all eligible voters must have their forms filled and submitted between December 5 and 10. Special camps will be organized at each booth, and women workers will assist voters in completing the forms to ensure thorough coverage.
To streamline the process, the CM directed the formation of ten-member teams at each booth, comprising booth presidents, BLOs, booth committee members, and senior party workers. These teams will conduct house-to-house visits to ensure all voter forms are collected and submitted on time. CM Yogi also emphasized the digital verification of forms already filled, ensuring any missing forms are updated digitally.

A key part of the SIR campaign, the Chief Minister noted, is to remove names of ineligible and fake voters, including deceased individuals, ensuring the voter list remains completely clean and reliable. This initiative underscores the state government’s focus on transparency and efficiency in electoral processes.
The meeting was attended by prominent leaders including Mayor Dr. Manglesh Srivastava, BJP UP Vice President and MLC Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Gorakhpur Rural MLA Vipin Singh, BJP City Coordinator Rajesh Gupta, Regional Vice President Vishwajeetashu Singh, City Coordinator of the SIR campaign Achyutanand Shahi, and other party officials, corporators, and former candidates.
With these efforts, CM Yogi Adityanath seeks to strengthen public trust in the electoral system while ensuring a fully accurate voter list, setting a benchmark for election preparedness in Uttar Pradesh.
