In a decisive move, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has issued strict directives against the spread of rumors regarding LPG and petrol shortages across the state. The Chief Minister emphasized that anyone found spreading false information or indulging in black marketing of fuel will face stringent action.
CM Yogi Adityanath directed all District Magistrates and police officers in Uttar Pradesh to remain vigilant. He clearly stated that rumors about LPG and petrol shortages will not be tolerated, and anyone attempting to create panic or manipulate the fuel supply will be dealt with firmly.

The administration has been instructed to closely monitor social media and other communication channels for misinformation related to fuel. Police officials have been asked to increase surveillance around petrol pumps, while the district administration and supply departments will conduct regular inspections of gas agencies and shops.
Special attention will also be given to curb the illegal storage of LPG cylinders. Authorities have been instructed to ensure smooth supply and prevent any disruptions in the distribution network.
According to officials, this strict approach comes as a preventive measure to avoid panic buying and ensure that the citizens of Uttar Pradesh have uninterrupted access to fuel during the ongoing LPG and petrol crisis.
