UP government freezes salaries of 68,000 state employees who failed to submit property details on the Human Sampada Portal. Promotions will also be restricted for non-compliant employees.
The UP government has taken a strict decision against state employees who failed to submit their property details on the Human Sampada Portal, freezing the salaries of over 68,000 employees. Officials who did not upload their property information within the prescribed deadline will also face restrictions on promotions.
The state has mandated that all employees must declare their movable and immovable property online through the Human Sampada Portal. Employees who miss this deadline risk severe administrative action, including withholding of salary.
According to UP government orders, all state employees must provide property details for assets earned up to December 31, 2025, by January 31, 2026. Employees failing to comply will not receive their salary for January 2026.
The Chief Secretary had earlier instructed that all officers and employees must submit accurate details of their movable and immovable assets on the portal. The facility to update property details became operational on January 1, 2026.
Department heads have been instructed to ensure compliance among their subordinates. Employees who fail to meet the deadline will face consequences, and their promotion will not be considered in departmental promotion committees scheduled after February 1, 2026.
