Lord Birsa Munda performed his important role by sacrificing everything for the rights of the tribal community and the independence of the country: Chief MinisterPrime Minister decided to celebrate 15th November as Tribal Pride Day to honor the sacrifice of Lord Birsa Munda.
Various programs will be organized from today to 20th November in the International Tribal Partnership Festival.
- Tribal artists from 22 states were associated with this event, artists from Slovakia and Vietnam are also participating in it.
- Tribal community: The community that embraces the feeling of Mother ‘Bhoomi: Putroham Prithivya’, the tribal communities that are dependent on natural resources and have love for tradition, protected the natural resources of India in adverse circumstances.
- Double Engine Government is carrying forward various programs to give respect to tribal art and tradition.
- The efforts started by the state government in the year 2017-18 for 100% satisfaction of the tribal community with various public welfare schemes are progressing at a fast pace.
- To preserve the heritage and culture of tribal communities, museums are being built at different places at the government level, a grand Tharu Tribe Museum was constructed in Emilia Kodar of Balrampur district.
- With the inspiration of the Prime Minister, the state government is currently carrying forward a big program to achieve the goal of zero poverty.
UP CM YOGI Adityanath ji said that the tribal community, along with being the original community of India, is also connected to the soil and the mother is ‘Bhoomi: Putroham Prithivya’, that is, this earth is our mother. The Chief Minister was expressing his views here today after inaugurating the International Tribal Partnership Festival organized on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, the 150th birth anniversary of Loknayak Bhagwan Birsa Munda. On this occasion, he garlanded the statue of Lord Birsa Munda and paid his respects to him and laid the foundation stone of Government Ashram System schools in Syria and Jugail of Sonbhadra district through virtual medium.Various cultural programs were presented before him by the artists of the tribal community. Before this, he visited the stalls related to tribal products.
The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride for us that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has decided to celebrate 15th November as Tribal Pride Day to honor the sacrifice of Lord Birsa Munda.In this sequence, a large number of tribal communities belonging to different parts of the country and state will be present here and participate in various programs. Various programs will be organized here from today till November 20, 2024, Tribal artists from 22 states are associated with this event. Artists from Slovakia and Vietnam are also participating in it. Through these programs, tribal communities will get an opportunity to present and move forward their tradition and culture.
The double engine government is pursuing various programs to honor tribal art and tradition. Before 2017, the tribal community was deprived of many public welfare schemes.This community could not become a part of the agenda of the previous governments. Tribal communities live in about 11 districts of the state.The efforts started by the state government in the year 2017-18 for 100% saturation of various public welfare schemes to the tribes like Tharu, Kol, Chero, Gond and Buxa etc. are progressing at a fast pace.Today they are being covered by many schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and toilet in every house.
UP CM YOGI said that LPG connections are being provided to tribal communities as green fuel. They are being benefited from the Old Age, Destitute Women and Disabled Persons Pension SchemeRation card, health insurance cover of Rs 05 lakh is being provided to every needy. The work of establishing a long series of schools running in the name of Veer Ekalavya in all the tribal areas is progressing. Many programs are being run by the state government to provide modern education to the children of the tribal community through ashram system schools.Tribal communities are rapidly moving towards economic self-reliance by benefiting from the schemes of the national and state government.
The Chief Minister said that along with taking advantage of modern technologies, we should have love for our heritage.To preserve the heritage and culture of tribal communities, museums are being built at different places at the government level. A grand Tharu Tribe Museum has been constructed in Emilia Kodar of Balrampur district. Through this museum, the ancient traditions and methods related to the Tharu tribal community can be observed. Such programs are being taken forward in many districts.
The process of covering the people belonging to Buxa tribe living in Bijnor district with various schemes was started during the arrival of the President.Today he is achieving his goal. Providing benefits of government schemes to every section of the society should be the priority of any government. It is in this spirit that the Prime Minister gave the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ to the countrymenWith the inspiration of the Prime Minister, the state government is currently carrying forward a big program to achieve the goal of zero poverty. Till now tribal communities deprived of government schemes, Work is being done towards achieving the goal of zero poverty by extending the benefits of the schemes to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and other citizens. The efforts being made to free the society from poverty will soon yield good results.
