Chief Minister extends best wishes to Utkal Samaj and people of Odisha
CM Vishnu Dev Sai extended warm greetings and best wishes to all the brethren of the Utkal Samaj in the State and across the country on the occasion of Odisha Statehood Day (Utkal Divas). He said that this day is not just a celebration of the formation of Odisha, but an inspiration of struggle, self-pride and cultural unity. The Chief Minister said that a large number of people of Utkal Samaj live in Chhattisgarh, which strengthens the social harmony and diversity of the state.
Salutes the contribution of Barrister Madhusudan Das
CM Vishnu Dev Sai said that it was due to the struggles of a visionary and dedicated personality like Barrister Madhusudan Das that the State of Odisha was formed on 1st April 1936. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh and Odisha have had cultural and social ties for centuries. He said that the rice offered to Lord Jagannath still comes from Chhattisgarh. Especially the rice of the Devbhog region, which is used as the Lord’s prasad, symbolizes the religious connect of the two states.
Praying to Lord Jagannath for the welfare of the people of the state.
The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Jagannath for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of Chhattisgarh. He said that the blessings of Lord Jagannath will always remain on Chhattisgarh.
