Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his message said that the festival of Baisakhi is a symbol of our great traditions and rich cultural heritage. This festival, being associated with the harvesting of the new crop, reflects our farming tradition and Indian culture.

On this day, the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, founded the Khalsa Panth. In different parts of India, this festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in different forms and it also marks the arrival of the New Year.
