The Uttar Pradesh government is set to present the much-awaited UP Budget 2026 today, amid growing anticipation as the state gears up for the 2027 Assembly elections. The budget, considered a crucial one in the current political scenario, is expected to emphasize welfare programs for women, youth, and farmers.

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna will table the budget in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly at 11 AM. Ahead of the presentation, a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was held at 9 AM to approve the proposals and allocations. This year’s budget is expected to be the largest in the state’s history and marks the final full budget of Yogi Adityanath’s second term.
