On the first day of his visit to Gujarat, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, along with the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Shri J.P. Nadda, visited the divine form of Maa Narmada on the banks of the holy river Narmada at Kevadia on Monday and offered prayers. During this, Shri Sharma wished that the life of the people of the state be filled with happiness, prosperity, and joy from Maa Narmada.
Later, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and Shri Nadda visited the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue on the banks of the Narmada River, and paid tributes to Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Shri Sharma said that this grand statue of Late Patel is a living symbol of the unparalleled courage, foresight, and patriotism of the great unifier of India.
Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav and Member of Parliament Shri Madan Rathore were also present on the occasion.
