CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that milk unions are emerging as a symbol of the potential of the cattle rearers. The large scale organisation of these small animal rearers is successfully implementing ‘Sahakar Hi Shakti Hai’ on the ground. These associations have established new dimensions of development, public participation and self-reliance. He said that women’s activism in the dairy sector has increased significantly, leading to their economic empowerment.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was addressing the White Revolution Phase-II and Alwar Milk Union Day programme in Alwar on Monday. On this occasion, he laid the foundation stone of the drinking water scheme improvement work of Alwar city (about Rs. 23.27 crore) through tube well and pipeline from Silisedh area and launched Alwar Dairy’s new product Mawa and toned milk curd in 15 kg pack. The Chief Minister said that today is a celebration of the hard work of the cattle rearers and farmers. The sapling that the villages of Alwar had planted more than 50 years ago in the form of Alwar Milk Union has become a banyan tree today. When this milk union was established, it used to collect 500 litres of milk, which has now become an average of 1.5 lakh litres per day. At the same time, this union is providing direct and indirect employment to about 50 thousand people.
Chief Minister unveils statue of Maharana Pratap
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma unveiled the statue of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap at the park at Moti Dungri. The statue has been constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. The statue is 12 feet tall and weighs 2,200 kg. Shri Sharma also planted a Maulashree sapling here.
Decisive steps taken by the Centre and the State for the welfare of farmers and animal husbandry
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the double engine government at the Centre and the state is taking decisive steps for the welfare of farmers and cattle rearers and for the upliftment of the dairy sector. Successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has done the work of giving farmers a Samman Nidhi of 6 thousand rupees every year, which we have increased to 9 thousand rupees in Rajasthan. He said that in Rajasthan, additional bonus is being given on the support price of wheat and today it is the highest in the country.
Adequate power and water supply will be ensured.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Rajasthan has got the gift of Ram Jal Setu Link Project. Through this scheme, eastern Rajasthan, including Alwar, will get enough water for drinking and irrigation. At the same time, the work of Yamuna Water Agreement for Shekhawati region and development of Mahi, Dewas project has also been taken up. We have also given Rs. 3400 crore for the Indira Gandhi Canal Project. “We are committed to provide day-time power to all farmers by 2027,” he said. At present, more than 60 thousand farmers are being provided electricity during the day. At the same time, we are also working on the feeder improvement plan.
Rs. 30 lakh loan disbursed
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that about 47 lakh farmers have been provided short term interest free crop loans of about 30 thousand crore rupees. The Chief Minister said that toll free mobile veterinary service number 1962 and Mukhyamantri Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana have also been launched for the animals. At the same time, our government implemented the Rajasthan Cooperative Gopal Credit Card Loan Scheme, under which interest-free loans have also been provided to more than 37 thousand Gopalaks.
Not a single paper leak in 17 months of tenure –
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, women are being empowered through the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. He said that milk is being provided to the new mothers in the Anganwadi centres 5 days a week. This will ensure proper nutrition for the baby. He said that the state government is working with full transparency and sensitivity to fulfil the dreams of employment of the son of farmers. There has not been a single paper leak in our 17 months of tenure. At the same time, we have arrested about 300 accused involved in paper leaks during the previous government and put them behind bars.
The army showed indomitable courage and destroyed terrorist hideouts.
The Chief Minister said the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22 had caused outrage across the country. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Indian Army displayed indomitable courage and destroyed terror launch pads across the border. Our Army gives a befitting reply to any misadventure. Shri Sharma said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country is the fourth economic power in the world and will soon become the third economic power. He said that the economy of Rajasthan will also be $350 billion by the year 2030.
700 new dairies to be set up in Alwar

Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given four dimensions to promote dairy. This includes women empowerment, promotion of local milk production, strengthening the basic strength of dairy and promoting dairy exports. He thanked the Chief Minister for allocating Rs. 125 crore budget for Alwar Dairy. Shri Yadav said that the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) will provide Rs 175 crore at 5% subsidy grant to set up a 5 lakh litre milk plant in Alwar. The Union Minister said that one thousand quintals of quality fodder will also be produced here. He said that under the White Revolution Phase II, work will be done to build 700 new dairies in Alwar.
The Chief Minister visited the stalls put up by Alwar District Milk Producers Cooperative Federation Ltd, Rajasthan Cooperative Federation Ltd, National Dairy Development Board and Rajivika at the venue. He also released a booklet ‘Behror Banega Behtar’. On this occasion, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Hans Raj Hanspal, MLAs Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Saravjit Kaur Manuke, Prof Baljinder Kaur, Meet Hayer, Kulwant Singh Pandori, Principal Budh Ram, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, Amarjit Singh Sandoa, Jai Singh Rodi and party leaders Neel Garg, Gurjant Singh Sivia, Charanjit Singh Akanwali, Jagroop Singh Gill, Dr Vijay Singla, Master Jagsir Singh, Balkar Singh Sidhu, Sukhbir Singh Maisarkhana, Anil Thakur, Navdeep Singh Jida, Amrit Garg, among others were also present.
