RAJASTHAN NEWS : Manju Rajpal, Principal Secretary, Cooperation and Registrar, Cooperative Societies, said that all eligible loanee members of cooperative land development banks should be ensured to get the benefit of the Chief Minister’s Term Interest Relief Scheme. He said that the Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks, where the progress under the scheme is slow, should make special efforts to improve the recovery.
Rajpal was addressing a review meeting on the implementation of the Chief Minister’s Term Interest Relief Scheme in Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks at the Apex Bank Auditorium on Tuesday. He said that eligible persons should be encouraged through the Sarpanches by providing a list of eligible borrowers to benefit from the scheme. The debtor members can also be encouraged to take the benefit of the scheme through persuasion by the administrative officers in the presence of the Sarpanch by collecting the eligible persons of the scheme. He directed that the administrators and chairmen of the PLDB should also be involved in the implementation of the Mukhya Mantri Awadhi Par Interest Relief Scheme. Along with this, village service cooperative societies and local NGOs should also be involved in this work.
The Principal Secretary said that all the Additional Registrars (Block), Deputy Registrars and Managing Directors of Central Cooperative Banks should also work in unison to bring the Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks back into the mainstream. He said that new loans should be made available to the loanee members taking advantage of the scheme, so that they can also get the benefit of 5 percent interest subvention scheme. Smt. Rajpal said that the Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks in which new Secretaries have been given charge recently, should be activated quickly and ensure the desired progress in the scheme. He directed that the beneficiaries who get huge relief under the scheme should be given wide publicity through various mediums so that other debtor members can also be encouraged to take advantage of the scheme.
Smt. Rajpal appreciated the PLDBs of Dausa, Bilara, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Churu and Raisinghnagar for the above state average progress in the scheme and directed them to be continuously active to achieve more progress. He directed the Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks having more than Rs. 10 crore of term loans and more than 1000 eligible borrowers to make special efforts for recovery. He said that the Additional Registrar (Block) should regularly monitor the Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks having high overdue and low recovery.
During the meeting, Managing Director, State Cooperative Land Development Bank, Shri Jitendra Prasad apprised about the progress of service of notices and recovery from eligible borrowers under the scheme and said that about Rs. 44 crore has been recovered so far. He informed that Raj Sahakar App CM OTS 2025-26 portal has already been inaugurated by the Cooperation Minister on 9th May, 2025 and recovery receipts and certificates are being issued through the portal itself.
The meeting was attended by senior officers of State Cooperative Land Development Bank, all Additional Registrars (Block), Deputy Registrars and Secretaries of Primary Cooperative Land Development Banks.
