The release of Anushka Sharma’s comeback film Chakda Xpress continues to remain uncertain, leaving fans and the film’s team awaiting clarity.

Chakda Xpress, a biopic based on the life of celebrated cricketer Jhulan Goswami, was expected to mark Anushka’s return to acting after a hiatus. Produced by Clean Slate Filmz and set to release on Netflix, the film generated significant excitement with early promotions and stills that showcased its promising narrative.

However, in recent weeks, the film’s release has faced unexplained delays, raising questions about whether the project has been postponed or shelved altogether.

Speaking to News18 Showsha, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, who stars alongside Anushka in the film, expressed his disappointment over the ongoing delay. He described Chakda Xpress as “fantastic” and praised Anushka’s performance, emphasizing that both the cast and fans have been eagerly awaiting its release.

“I am just as confused as everyone else about the delay,” Dibyendu stated. “Chakda Xpress is a great film, and Anushka has delivered a powerful performance. We all want to see it reach the audience soon.”

Neither Netflix nor Clean Slate Filmz have provided an official explanation for the postponement. The production house and streaming platform have remained silent, leaving the film’s fate unresolved.
