Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini supports PM Modi and Amit Shah, slams Congress for spreading misinformation and vote rigging claims. Read more about his recent statements and political stance.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has extended his support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while launching a strong attack on the Congress party for what he termed as “misinformation” and “baseless allegations.” During a press interaction on Thursday, Saini responded to key national issues raised by the opposition, particularly focusing on the recent statements made by the Congress party regarding electoral reforms and allegations of vote rigging.
CM Nayab Singh Saini began by thanking PM Modi for attending two significant state events in Haryana – the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the Gita Jayanti festival. The CM emphasized that Modi’s presence at these events had greatly “enhanced Haryana’s glory” and strengthened the state’s cultural and spiritual identity. Saini also confirmed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Haryana on December 24, marking another key engagement for the state’s leadership.
Support for Amit Shah’s Speech in Lok Sabha
CM Nayab Singh Saini also reacted to Amit Shah’s recent speech in the Lok Sabha, where the Home Minister addressed issues related to electoral reforms, national security, and the Congress party’s historical conduct. In response, Saini accused the opposition of misleading the public with “malicious propaganda.” He stated that Shah’s speech had provided a detailed account of the Congress party’s actions “from its birth to the present,” claiming that the party had worked to “suppress democracy.” Saini further accused Congress of diverting from constructive politics and resorting to baseless allegations.

Criticism of Congress and Rahul Gandhi’s Allegations
The Haryana CM specifically targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his recent claims of “vote chori.” Saini stated that the allegations made by Gandhi were met with widespread disbelief across the country, with people from all walks of life, including intellectuals and rural residents, mocking the baseless claims. Saini criticized Gandhi for opposing PM Modi on issues that had no substance or merit. He urged Gandhi to oppose Modi on tangible issues that matter, saying, “If you oppose PM Modi, do so on schemes that you implemented successfully during your tenure – but they don’t have even one scheme to point to.”
Response to Arjun Ram Meghwal’s Remarks
Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal also joined the debate, accusing the opposition of not listening to the Home Minister’s arguments in full. Meghwal mentioned that Amit Shah’s statement in the Lok Sabha, addressing electoral reforms, was completely ignored by the opposition. He specifically took exception to Congress’s stance on the inclusion of non-citizens in voter lists, saying, “How can someone who is not a citizen of this country be included in the voter list?” Meghwal defended the Home Minister’s position, arguing that the opposition did not even give Shah’s response a fair hearing.
