Haryana government disburses ₹858 crore aid to farmers and women under Lado Lakshmi and Har Ghar-Har Grihini schemes, empowering thousands.
In a major welfare initiative, the Haryana government on Saturday disbursed a total of ₹858 crore to thousands of farmers and women beneficiaries under various state schemes. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini personally handed out the funds, which included ₹659 crore directly credited to farmers’ accounts.
As part of the event, the third installment under the Dain Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana was released to eligible women. The Chief Minister stated that under this scheme, each qualified woman receives a total monthly financial support of ₹2,100. Starting February 2026, ₹1,100 will be directly transferred to beneficiaries’ savings accounts, while the remaining ₹1,000 will be deposited in fixed or recurring deposits. The accumulated interest will also be given to the beneficiaries.

Additionally, three new beneficiary categories have been added to the scheme, and they will start receiving benefits from February onwards. Since the inception of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana, a total of ₹441 crore has already been distributed in three installments to eligible women and girls. By December 31, 2025, 9,98,650 women had applied via the official app, out of which 8,63,918 were found eligible.
Under the Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana, eligible women receive LPG cylinders at a subsidized price of ₹500 per month. The subsidy for October 2025 was released on Saturday, and subsidies for November and December will be disbursed soon.
This massive financial assistance highlights the Haryana government’s commitment to women empowerment and farmer welfare, ensuring both economic support and improved quality of life for its citizens.
