Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini orders immediate suspension of a TGT Hindi teacher booked under the POCSO Act after allegations of misconduct with a schoolgirl surfaced during Jan Samvad in Ladwa.
Acting swiftly on the directions of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government has suspended a TGT Hindi teacher posted at Government Senior Secondary School, Kanipla, after serious allegations of misconduct with a schoolgirl surfaced against him.
The accused TGT Hindi Teacher, identified as Sameer Kaushik, was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested earlier in connection with the case. Despite the registration of an FIR and his arrest, departmental action had not been initiated against him until the matter was personally raised before the Chief Minister.
The issue came to light during the Jan Samvad programme held in Ladwa, where the victim’s family approached CM Nayab Singh Saini and informed him about the alleged misbehaviour by the teacher. They also pointed out that although a police case had been registered on December 19, the accused continued to remain in service.

Taking serious note of the complaint, the Chief Minister immediately issued directions to senior officials at the Panchkula headquarters over the phone, ordering the immediate suspension of the teacher. Following these instructions, the Director General of the Haryana Elementary Education Department issued suspension orders without delay.
According to official sources, the FIR against the teacher was registered under multiple sections of the law after the complaint was lodged by the victim’s family. The arrest had already been made, but administrative action was pending until the Chief Minister’s intervention.
The Haryana government reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards crimes against children, stating that strict and prompt action will be taken in all such cases. Officials emphasised that ensuring the safety of students and maintaining discipline in educational institutions remains a top priority for the state administration.
The swift response by the Chief Minister has been widely seen as a strong message that negligence or delay in sensitive cases involving minors will not be tolerated.
