Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has reiterated her government’s commitment to improving the city’s infrastructure, health facilities, and public services while ensuring citizen participation in the journey toward a ‘Developed Delhi.’
CM Rekha Gupta highlighted the importance of involving all sections of society, including youth, students, and workers, in shaping the future of the national capital. “Every single project and initiative that needs to be implemented in Delhi—as the capital of India—will be executed with public involvement,” she said.

CM Rekha Gupta emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in schemes targeting marginalized and economically weaker sections. “For the poor, whether it’s a school or hospital, every initiative must be implemented with complete transparency. Foolproof mechanisms will ensure that no citizen is deprived of their rights,” she explained.

Healthcare as a Priority
The Chief Minister Rekha Gupta underlined her government’s plan to enhance Delhi’s healthcare system. “No one should lose their life due to lack of treatment. From primary health centers to tertiary hospitals, we are improving medical equipment, facilities, and doctors. For the first time, Delhi has fixed its financial system through an MoU with the Reserve Bank of India, ensuring better funding for healthcare and infrastructure,” CM Gupta said.
Infrastructure Development and Urban Planning
CM Rekha Gupta assured that financial resources allocated for Delhi would be efficiently used to develop essential infrastructure, including schools, roads, flyovers, and colleges. “With support from the Central government and proper financial planning, Delhi will no longer face constraints due to budget limitations,” she added.
Empowering Women and Youth
The Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also spoke about empowering women and youth. She highlighted initiatives like “Beti Bachao” and encouraged active participation of young people in shaping a better future. She stressed that with increased awareness and responsibility among citizens, Delhi can become a model city by 2047, aligning with India’s centenary independence vision.
