New Initiatives in Investment and Employment
CM Bhagwant Mann stated that since March 2022, Punjab has witnessed a total investment of ₹1.58 lakh crore. This significant investment has created employment opportunities for more than 5.5 lakh youth across the state. The Chief Minister emphasized that the state’s new industrial policy ensures a business-friendly environment, allowing entrepreneurs and industrialists to expand their operations smoothly.

Major Investment Projects
Highlighting key projects, CM Bhagwant Mann announced that a major steel plant by Tata Group will start operations in Ludhiana from 20 March 2026. This project is expected to accelerate Punjab’s industrial growth and generate new job opportunities for local youth.
Focus on Creating Job Providers
CM Bhagwant Mann stressed that the government’s primary objective is to ensure that the youth are not just job seekers but also job creators. The Punjab government remains fully committed to holistic development, industrial growth, and strengthening the state’s economy.
Concluding the event, CM Bhagwant Mann urged everyone to collectively work towards building a ‘Rangla Punjab,’ creating new avenues for prosperity, investment, and employment for the youth.
