New Delhi: On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta jointly inaugurated 18 Namo Oxygen Parks in Delhi, marking a major step toward urban greening, improved air quality, and community-driven environmental conservation.
The initiative was launched as part of the nationwide Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, aimed at turning tree plantation into a mass public movement focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
