AAP Gujarat in-charge Gopal Rai held a Bardoli meeting on 2027 election strategy, organisational expansion and tribal issues across the state.
The Gujarat in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party, Gopal Rai, held an important organisational review meeting with Bardoli Lok Sabha office bearers to discuss party expansion and preparations for the 2027 Gujarat Assembly elections.
The meeting was attended by state leaders, assembly-level functionaries and local workers, focusing on strengthening the party’s organisational structure from the assembly level down to village units.
Focus on 2027 Election Preparations
Addressing the media, Gopal Rai said that following the recent local elections, AAP has formally intensified its preparations for the 2027 Gujarat Assembly elections. He added that the party is actively expanding its organisational network across the state through structured appointments at multiple levels, including state, assembly and taluka units.
According to him, the aim is to build a strong grassroots presence to ensure effective engagement with citizens across rural and urban regions of Gujarat.

Organisational Expansion Across All Levels
Rai explained that the party is focusing on strengthening its presence from assembly constituencies to village-level units. He said that dedicated organisational secretaries have been appointed to streamline coordination and ensure better outreach among local communities.
He described the Bardoli meeting as part of a larger strategy to consolidate the party’s base in key regions of Gujarat.
Allegations Over Tribal Leader’s Arrest
During the interaction, Rai also referred to the arrest of Chaitar Vasava, alleging that the tribal leader was falsely implicated. He said that the issue has sparked widespread resentment among tribal communities across Gujarat.
Rai further alleged that the government is attempting to suppress dissenting voices and stated that the party has developed a strategy to launch a statewide campaign against such actions.

Gopal Rai said that the meeting also finalised plans for a broader campaign highlighting public grievances and governance issues in Gujarat. He added that AAP will continue to raise concerns related to tribal rights, rural development and administrative accountability.
The party reiterated its commitment to expanding its organisational strength and preparing aggressively for the 2027 state elections.
