Harbhajan Singh ETO flags off Guru Ravidas Ji’s 650th Birth Anniversary vehicles in Amritsar. Documentary screenings and 6.5 lakh plantation planned.
Punjab Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO flagged off special vehicles dedicated to the 650th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji in Amritsar. These specially designed vehicles will travel across the region and screen documentaries based on the life, teachings and social message of Guru Sahib.
The initiative aims to spread the values of equality, devotion, humanity and social harmony among people, while connecting the younger generation with the inspiring life journey of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
Special Documentary Vehicles to Spread Guru Sahib’s Message
The documentary vehicles will showcase important aspects of Guru Ravidas Ji’s life and philosophy through audio-visual presentations. The campaign is designed to reach a large number of people and create awareness about Guru Sahib’s teachings of equality and brotherhood.
Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the 650th Birth Anniversary celebrations will be organised on a grand scale with various religious, cultural and social activities.

6.5 Lakh Saplings to be Planted in Amritsar District
As part of the celebrations, a major environmental initiative will also be undertaken. Around 6.5 lakh plants will be planted in Amritsar district to promote environmental protection and encourage people to preserve nature.

The plantation drive will be one of the key highlights of the year-long celebrations dedicated to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
Marathon, Cycle Rally and Drone Show Among Major Events
Several special programmes will be organised on the occasion, including a marathon, cycle rally and drone show. These events will encourage public participation and highlight the message of Guru Ravidas Ji among people from different sections of society.
The celebrations will also include religious gatherings and cultural programmes to mark the historic occasion.
Nagar Kirtan to Depart from Jammu
A special Nagar Kirtan will depart from Jammu as part of the 650th Birth Anniversary celebrations. Devotees from different regions are expected to participate in the religious procession and pay tribute to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
